A Little Bit About Pamela Moore

Pamela Moore has had a pretty diverse career. Although the singer is widely known for being the riveting voice of "Sister Mary" on Queensryche's legendary concept album, Operation: Mindcrime, she's also released her own recordings, contributed her voice to various radio and television commercials, and has a background in theater.

Pamela was given the opportunity to record her first album with a now defunct Seattle based record label, First American Records. Her first release Take A Look did very well regionally and was one of the stepping-stones that lead her down the path she finds herself now. A second release, You Wont Find Me There was recorded a year later but never had a chance to surface as the company folded just after its release. It was a disappointing time but in retrospect, the experience was great for me. Grooming her to become (as Billboard Magazine penned) an AOR, Blue-eyed soul artist, destined for success. A far cry from what was to be her most memorable endeavor, Queensryche.

The latter came in handy over the past two years, as Moore joined Queensryche for an extensive world tour, reprising and expanding her familiar role as the love interest of "Nikki," Operation: Mindcrime's central character.

Aside from live performances and solo recording projects, Pamela did some work with a band from New York, Radar. She moved to New York, living there for 2 years to work on her craft before returning home to Seattle. Radar released their debut album in 2000.

Other projects Pamela has been involved with are; work with Brian Johnson of AC/DC, singing backup on a few selected concerts with Paul Rodgers of Bad Company, and cameo stage appearances with her cousin, Terri Nunn of Berlin.

Pamela has been featured on the following albums:

Pamela Moore - Take A Look (1981)

Pamela Moore - You Won't Find Me There (1982)

Queensryche - Operation: Mindcrime (1988)

Queensryche - Operation: Livecrime (2001 / 1992)

Radar - RPM (2000)

Queensryche - Operation: Live Evolution (2002)

Queensryche - Operation: Mindcrime II (2006)

Pamela Moore - Stories From A Blue Room (2006)

Solna - Sent From Heaven EP (2008)

Solna - Eurameric (Spring 2009)

Pamela's most current solo record 'Stories From A Blue Room' was produced by grammy award winning producer, Neil Kernon. The 11 song record is cowritten by Benjamin Anderson formerly of the band Rorschach Test. The recording and mixing took place at Sonic Ranch Studios and Robert Lang Studios with Jason Kowalski on drums (N17, Abigail Williams), guitars by Jeff Loomis (Nevermore), Mike Wilton (Queensryche, Soulbender), and Benjamin Anderson. Bass guitars by Brian Gordon (ION VEIN). Also, some amazing guest vocals by Terri Nunn (Berlin).

Pamela also makes another appearance in the Operation Mindcrime saga. Once again, Pamela has leant her amazing vocals to the character "Suite Sister Mary" for the Queensryche Operation Mindcrime II album. The highly acclaimed record was released April 2006.

In 2008, Pamela was a featured guest singer on new releases from Metal Bands Eden's Curse and Solna. These collaborations have proven to be so successful with fans around the world that even more special guest performances are planned for 2009 as well as bookings for her live solo shows with The PMB.
